1. Agreeing to these terms

By using fjtyping ("the app") you agree to these terms. If you are under 13, a parent, guardian or your school must agree to them for you. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

2. What fjtyping is

fjtyping is a free typing-practice website for kids, students, teachers and anyone who wants to type faster. Every feature is free. There are no paid plans, subscriptions, upgrades or in-app purchases.

3. Accounts

You can use fjtyping without an account. If you create one, keep your password private and pick a nickname for your username, not your real name. Teachers who add students to a class should do so in line with their school's rules and should not enter sensitive information about students.

4. Be kind and play fair

Please use fjtyping lawfully and kindly. Don't choose rude or hurtful usernames, don't try to cheat, disrupt or attack the site, and don't misuse it in any other way. We may remove usernames or accounts that break these rules.

5. "As is", no warranty

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We don't promise it will always be available or free of errors.

6. Your progress

Without an account, your progress is saved only in your browser and can be lost if you clear your browser data or switch devices. We are not responsible for lost progress.

7. Intellectual property

The fjtyping name, design and app belong to its owner. You may use the app for practice and teaching, but you may not copy, resell or redistribute it as your own.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the owner of fjtyping is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the app, including lost data.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
